Insight Acting Presents: Love and Information

In her wildly playful way, Churchill appears to concur with her dramatic forebears that knowledge must be irradiated by emotion to become wisdom.

Audition:
Be a part of Insight Acting’s next big show. After a sell out season of Road in June this year, Insight Acting is excited to bring Love and Information to the stage in Newcastle. Auditions will be run as an equal opportunity casting, meaning that, if you audition, you are guaranteed some role in the play. This is about giving everyone a chance to have their moment on stage; regardless of your ability, experience or capacity, everyone has a right to be a part of storytelling in the Newcastle Theatre Community. It also represents a opportunity for experienced performers for reach for something more, experiment, and really improve their craft with expert direction, and casting designed to grow up as an actor.

Learn:
To audition for Love and information we want you to be a part of Insight Acting’s term 4 course, part time or full time. This course is designed to equip you with the skills and techniques specifically required to bring this play to life. With class Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and rehearsals on Thursday, rehearsals become to perfect time to really flex your new toolbox of acting skills. Approach text, characterisation, and ensemble in new and fresh ways. Courses are run by Tim Kemp, professional actor, director, producer, and acting coach with over 15 years experience, having worked with ACA, ATYP, consulted film festivals, agencies, and helped hundreds of students land their big breaks!

Perform:
Get the opportunity to put all this work on stage in front of the broader Insight Acting community; a community that it built around growth, support and bravery. Two night-time performances and one matinee. Showcase your abilities to the local theatre community, or for the more experienced performers, show them a casting or ability that you’ve never had the opportunity to show.
